ONE-TO-ONE & GROUP LESSONS WITH QUALIFIED INSTRUCTORS

1. BASIC COURSE

This basic course will take you from getting to know the kite right up to your first exercises in the water with the board.
You will begin with a theory lesson on preparing your kite, the terminology used and safety rules, before continuing with piloting the kite first from the boat and then in the water with a body-drag lesson.
The goal by the end of the course is to have complete control of your kite and body in the water.

The meeting time for lessons is generally 8 o’clock in the morning, and 2 o’clock in the afternoon, unless agreed otherwise during booking.
Remember that all the equipment is provided by the school, though we recommend you bring a swimming costume, sunglasses, comfortable clothing for lessons on land and a windbreaker for on the boat.

  • Kite flying area (neutral zones, generating power, take-offs and landings)

DURATION

The duration of the course, including theory and practical lessons, is approximately 5 hours, plus the time needed to prepare all the equipment, transfer to the lesson area by boat and the return to base.
Remember that all practical lessons are one-to-one.
Therefore, to finish the course, wind permitting, it will take about two, not necessarily consecutive, half days.

1.1 INTERMEDIATE COURSE

The intermediate course will take you from your first board surf to fully independent riding.
You will begin with a theory lesson on water starts and navigation techniques, and will have the opportunity to practice on a special simulator before actually entering the water.
The goal by the end of the course is to be able to ride in complete safety in both directions, as well as beginning to ride upwind.

The master class allows you to quickly improve, whatever your level. It is addressed to both beginners wanting to learn and improve board riding techniques, and to the more experienced wanting to improve their posture and upwind riding.
